The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Kyiv authorities are evading interactions with representatives of foreign countries and companies that demand to ensure the safe exit of 70 foreign ships from 16 countries that are still detained in the ports of Ukraine.
Russia Today quoted the head of Russia’s National Defense Monitoring Center Mikhail Mizintsev as saying: “There are 70 foreign ships from 16 countries detained in six Ukrainian ports, namely Kherson, Nikolaev, Chernomorsk, Uchakov, Odessa and Yuzhny. out to sea.”
"Thanks to a set of measures, the Russian Navy got rid of the danger of mines in the water area of the port of Mariupol and began to restore the port's infrastructure, pointing out that the Russian armed forces have created the necessary conditions for the operation of two safe humanitarian sea lanes for the movement of ships in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov," Mezintsev said.
