As you may recall, RAAM belongs to the southern faction of the Islamic Movement, which strongly opposes the promotion of issues related to LGBT people.
With the opening of Pride Month, Minister of Social Equality Meirav Cohen is promoting for the first time a government plan by the government to promote the proud community, with a budget of about NIS 30 million each year for three years.

This is a program that progresses in 3 arenas: national, municipal, and activities with government ministries.

Community building at the district level through the activation of social groups;
Development of entrepreneurship and leadership for LGBT activism in Arab society; and an online center for Arab LGBT people.
