Interest in vaccinations against the corona virus continues to decline in Munich.

Now several symbolic marks have been torn in the vaccination center's weekly balance sheet.

The city of Munich publishes its vaccination record against the coronavirus every week.

The number of initial vaccinations is particularly striking.

In the past week, significantly fewer than 100 initial vaccinations were administered at the vaccination center and its branches.

In the week from May 24th to 28th, the employees only pricked previously unvaccinated Munich residents 68 times.

Corona: The number of vaccinations continues to fall

A total of 845 people were vaccinated that week.

The vast majority of these immunizations were therefore third and fourth vaccinations.

378 people were vaccinated for the third time, so they received the classic booster.

299 people even got the fourth injection.

In addition, there are exactly 100 second vaccinations.

More than 30,000 immunizations in December

The number of primary vaccinations has continued to decrease over time.

At the beginning of May, fewer than 100 people were vaccinated for the first time, at the end of April there were still 146 people.

At the end of March, this value was 469 - at that time, a total of 3597 people were vaccinated within a week during the city's vaccination campaigns.

For comparison, in mid-December, a total of 30,913 people were vaccinated against the corona virus.

In the meantime, the city is still trying to reach people who might be willing to be vaccinated with low-threshold offers.

So-called vaccination guides are on the move in different districts - next week in the Laim district.

The opening times of the vaccination centers in Munich are: Gasteig vaccination center: Tuesday to Saturday (9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.), external vaccination point at Marienplatz: Tuesday to Saturday (11 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.), external vaccination point in the Olympia shopping center (OEZ): Tuesday to Saturday (9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m Watch).
