The Forest and Fire Monitoring Platform (Fermo) renewed its warning that most forest sites in northwest Syria are affected today by a high level of fire risk, and the impact on the eastern slopes of the forest mountain range has risen to a very high level, while the rest of the sites remain under the influence of the medium level.
The platform indicated on its Facebook page that the levels of fire risk are declining tomorrow, Wednesday, calling not to start any fires and to report any fire or smoke on the toll-free numbers 188 and 113, indicating that the maps are prepared in cooperation with the General Directorate of Meteorology and the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform - Forestry Directorate.
