Syrian Ambassador to Russia Dr. Riad Haddad discussed with Abkhazia's Foreign Minister Yenal Ardzinba the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.
During their meeting at the headquarters of the Syrian embassy in Moscow, Haddad noted the level reached by the Syrian-Abkhazian relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2018.
Ambassador Haddad also stressed the importance of strengthening economic, commercial and cultural cooperation between the two countries, especially in light of the current conditions in the world.
In turn, Ardzinba expressed his country's desire to develop the level of cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields, including the economic and trade fields.
