We are reaching a critical point for the economic life of the country.
For several months, we have known that inflation is now high, and that it will persist at levels that we have not seen in recent decades.
The factors behind the price increase are multiple: the resumption of economic activity in 2021 created demand pressure at a time when production chains were facing supply difficulties, then the prices of raw materials and energy have soared in the wake of the war in Ukraine and associated geopolitical tensions.
Unfortunately, this geopolitical shock also prompted consumers to be more cautious, which had the effect of the economic slowdown observed in the first quarter.
