Barely created, the national judicial center dedicated to “cold cases” raises concerns.
Installed last March, this structure, which meets a real need, has had a slow start.
Far from the exciting picture painted a few days ago by the jurisdiction of Nanterre, which houses this brand new service, lawyers and associations working in unsolved cases have expressed their dismay.
At the end of an interview, this Tuesday, with judge Sabine Kheris, who heads the pole, they were alarmed at the lack of resources allocated to the judge who, moreover, recovered only very few files.
Seven in total, including the four concerning the serial killer Michel Fourniret, whom she was already dealing with in Paris where she had worked until then.
“She could already deal with around forty cases”,
underlines Me Corinne Herrmann.
“We are a little disappointed”
, also recognizes Éric Mouzin, the father of little Estelle, who disappeared in 2003.
