Fight between security forces and rioters:

Police forces arrived to deal with riots in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, where a fight broke out that included stone-throwing and the use of pepper spray by those involved.

As mentioned, the forces were attacked when they arrived to deal with disturbances in a neighborhood in East Jerusalem.

Rioters began throwing stones at them and as a result, the forces began to regain power using the means.

As a result of the disturbance at the scene, four policemen were lightly injured, two of them in need of medical treatment, and two suspects were arrested for assaulting policemen.

Police said "police forces are working to stop the riot."

Two days ago, in parallel with the flag parade, a number of violent incidents occurred in the East Jerusalem area.

In Issawiya a bus was pelted with stones and at the same time the security forces dealt with a number of rioting incidents in the East Jerusalem area and the Old City, which included stone-throwing, violence and assaulting police officers and causing damage to a police car.

In one incident, dozens of East Jerusalem residents attacked two fire-protected buses of the Mateh Binyamin Development Company.

Molotov cocktails and stones were thrown at the buses.

The buses were on their way to pick up celebrants from the flag dance.

Other than the drivers there were no passengers on the buses.

The drivers came out unscathed.
