Hans Zäuner has already planned and built a wind turbine.
The second will follow soon.
The local politicians signal approval.
Moosach/Bruck
– People keep coming up to Hans Zäuner and saying: “We also want something like this.” What is meant by this is a wind turbine like the one the Hüttelkofener has already built in his home town of Bruck in Hamberg – now it’s probably the only one so far Wind wheel in the Ebersberg district, not so far away.
And again it is Hans Zäuner who is driving the construction together with his business partner Werner Stinauer.
The wind turbine between Moosach and Bruck is almost 230 meters high
The Moosach municipal council has now passed the key data unanimously: 160 meters hub height and 229.13 meters total height can be found in the minutes of the meeting.
In the neighboring municipality of Bruck, the vote is likely to be similar next week.
Their terrain would cover the wings of the facility between Fürmoosen (Moosach) and Taglaching (Bruck), right on the municipal boundary.
In addition to “Windenergie Osterkling Verwaltungs GmbH” for Hamberg, Hans Zäuner is now managing director of “Windkraft Hirtenholz GmbH & Co. KG” for the construction near Fürmoosen.
"If you wait for others to do it, nothing ever happens," he says.
He and Stinauer would have advanced the expert costs – at their own risk.
"I'm confident that something will happen," he says about his current project, the rotor of which should turn by 2024 at the latest.
Start of operation no later than 2024
There is some criticism of it, but these voices will always exist.
The support from the two communities is “absolutely good”.
In addition, there is talk of the Free State soon moving away from the 10-H rule, which would make it easier to set up a wind turbine closer to residential buildings.
"I don't trust politics that much," explains Zäuner, which is why he is still taking the complicated municipal path of land use and development plans.
Wind turbine between Fürmoosen and Taglaching: "100 percent a matter for the citizens"
Whether the wind power pioneer will also be a co-investor in the plant has not yet been decided, he says.
Even if he is available for it: The decision in which area you want to collect shares and who is the manager in the company is up to the direct residents in Fürmoosen and Taglaching.
“100 percent citizen affair,” says Zäuner about what is expected to be the second wind turbine in the district.
A large part of the respective localities have signaled their interest in taking part.

As far as the reports are concerned, the planning is “in the final stages”, pending tests on noise and shadow as well as species protection law are about to be completed, soil and yield reports are already available.
The type of system has also been determined, but the purchase contract has not yet been signed - the final cost and return calculation is still missing, says Zäuner.
The construction costs are rising - so is the price of electricity
According to Zäuner, however, it is to be expected that the shareholders will have to raise the much smaller part of the estimated six million euros in construction costs as equity.
A high proportion of credit is more profitable in view of the still low interest rates.
"The goal is for the equity invested to double within 20 years," says the wind power managing director.
That would correspond to an annual return of 3.5 percent.
Rising electricity prices made up for the rising investment costs.
Hopefully the system can then run for a longer period of time, around 30 years and more.
Hans Zäuner is now a sought-after contact person for potential private wind power investors throughout the region.
"He knows his stuff," says Bruck's mayor Josef Schwäbl, who speaks for his neighbor in Moosach, Michael Eisenschmid (both CSU), when he says about the wind turbine in Fürmoosen: "We agree that we don't want to prevent that.
That we are for it.”
Wind turbine from Hamberg - operator says: "Are satisfied, it could always be more"
Zäuner is committed to his cause, wind power: "I'm still excited!" Even if 2021 was not a good wind year for Hamberg with 80 percent of the ten-year average.
"110 percent come again," he says.
"We are satisfied - of course it could always be more."
It should not have been the last such project in the southern district, that can be heard from several sides.
In addition to a location near Traxl east of Ebersberg, there is also talk of one in the municipality of Glonn.
