In June there are some innovations for consumers.
While you can save in some places with the relief package, e-car drivers are asked to pay elsewhere.
Munich – The federal government's relief package provides consumers with financial relief.
But in June there are some other innovations that consumers should know about.
If you drive an e-car and charge it regularly at the discount store, you now have to pay.
And if you are still hoping for a tax refund this year, you should hurry with your tax return.
Aldi: Free e-car charging is no longer possible
Fill up the car for free while shopping for the week: what sounds like a dream for combustion engine drivers was reality for e-car drivers.
That's enough of that.
Because at Aldi it will no longer be possible to charge the electric car for free while shopping from next month.
The discounter then charges 39 cents per kilowatt hour at the fast charging stations and 29 cents per kilowatt hour at the normal charging stations, as reported by
Bayerischer Rundfunk
.
Tax return: Do it quickly for an early repayment
Anyone who has previously postponed their tax return should hurry now.
Because anyone who still submits their income tax return in June will certainly receive their decision by the end of this year.
Because the tax office has a maximum of six months to process the declaration.
But be careful: If the office makes a request in the meantime, the deadline will be extended.
No more sick leave calls
Due to the corona virus, patients in the past pandemic years were able to get sick leave over the phone if they had mild cold symptoms.
But this rule is now expiring.
This means that anyone who needs a sick note for their employer must appear in person again from June 1st.
Nine-euro ticket: Summer timetable brings new excursion routes
From June 1, consumers have the opportunity to travel cheaply through Germany with the nine-euro ticket.
Because the saver ticket from the relief package is valid for the entire month for all local public transport.
Appropriately, the summer timetable will apply to Deutsche Bahn and other transport companies from June 12th.
Although this is only associated with small changes, it is definitely an advantage for a few savings excursions.
The train again offers a direct connection between Berlin and the North Sea island of Sylt.
In addition, Chemnitz will be connected to the long-distance network after a decade and a half and will have direct connections to Berlin and on to the Baltic Sea.

Corona vaccination certificate: digital proof expires
If you want to visit other countries on summer vacation, you should definitely check whether there are still corona rules for entry.
In many cases, the digital vaccination certificate expires in June, as it is only valid for 365 days.
But: This only expires the digital certificate - not the vaccination protection.
With the yellow vaccination booklet you are on the safe side.
