The hunter found two fawns in the mountain forest, probably killed by a dog.
The skull of one animal had also been smashed in.
Wolfratshausen
– Between Thursday, May 26th and Sunday, May 29th, the Wolfratshausen police were informed that two dead, badly battered fawns were lying in the mountain forest area above the town.
The tenant of the hunting ground who was then informed found the dead animals and found that both had probably been torn by a dog.
He also discovered massive head injuries in one of the two fawns.
This, according to the police in their report, suggests that the animal's skull was smashed.
For this reason, the officials are now investigating a violation of the Animal Welfare Act and hunting poaching.
At this point, the police urgently appeals to all dog owners not to let their four-legged friends run free in forests and meadows.
If a dog chases or even tears wild animals, its owner can expect a report of violation of the hunting law.
