In protest of the flag-raising law: a sign with Israeli and Palestinian flags hung on Ayalon routes
The sign was hung in protest against a law initiated by the Likud, which prohibits the hoisting of Palestinian flags in educational institutions.
Before approving his position, the mayor of Ramat Gan conducted a survey on the subject - and was met with a flood of supportive responses

The "Strengthen" organization has placed signs with the Israeli flag next to the Palestinian flag, which are intended to be hoisted today (Wednesday) over the Ayalon routes and in the center of Nazareth.
The flags on the signs
appear under the caption "We are meant to live together" in Hebrew and Arabic, and their publication comes in protest of the coalition's intention to allow freedom of voting on MK Eli Cohen's law from the Likud, which will ban Palestinian flags in educational institutions as has happened in universities in recent weeks.
In the stock exchange complex, all passengers on Ayalon lanes are visible to the public and their publication caused controversy when they arrived at the table of Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama HaCohen. Support advertising and within hours the organization can give final approval to publish the sign.

Uri Kol Strengthening CEO stated that "there is no law in the world that will eliminate the fact that two peoples live here and there is no democracy that prohibits the hoisting of flags of a national minority that makes up over 20 percent of the country's citizens.
"Every MK from the coalition who votes with the Likud dances according to Netanyahu's flute."
