Seven northern residents arrested on suspicion of attempted murder Israel today

During the arrest, weapons and vehicles used to commit the offenses were seized. • Their detention was extended by a week and the investigation continues.


Tonight (Tuesday-Wednesday), the Israeli police arrested seven northern residents on suspicion of attempted murder.

In a covert and targeted operation, detectives from the Hof District Police arrested seven suspects, residents of Jadeida Makr, Kiryat Motzkin, Haifa and Acre, aged 41-21, on suspicion of attempted murder, extortion, possession of a weapon, conspiracy to commit a crime and more. Weapons, cartridges, weapons and vehicles were seized, which were allegedly used to commit the offenses.

The suspects, residents of Jadeida Makr aged 21, 23 and 26, a resident of Haifa aged 26, a resident of Kiryat Motzkin aged 41 and residents of Acre aged 23 and 24, were arrested for questioning at the IDF offices, at the end of which they were imprisoned.

The Magistrate's Court in Haifa, at the request of the police, extended the suspects' detention for a week, until June 8.

The investigation continues.

As you may recall, just two weeks ago, a 20-year-old man was murdered in Acre.

An erect balance was shot to death on Hashel Street in the city, amid a conflict between criminals.

The murdered man is known to the police in the field of drug offenses.

Zakur was taken to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.

Police opened an investigation into the murder and collected findings at the scene.

Suspects in the act have not yet been arrested.
