In addition to the Syrian professional musicians, the Argentine singer “Mariel Dubott”, the bandoneon player Walter Rios, and the Cadance band led by pianist Arman Babkhanian will participate in the evening.

On the eve of the evening, Dar Al-Assad organized a press conference, in which the director of the house, Maestro Andre Maalouli, confirmed that the author Piazzola left a great legacy for the whole world, pointing out that what distinguishes the evening is its diversity and concerted efforts to present a work worthy of the Syrian audience, which is the second experience with Argentina after the activities of the Argentine Film Week, which It was held last year.

In response to a question by SANA about the importance of these events in exchanging experiences and cultures at the two countries’ level, Maestro Maalouli explained that music has several schools in the world, and each one of them relates to the nature of countries and their people, and that the exchange of these cultures enables the musician to refine and enrich his experience.

In turn, Argentine Ambassador Sebastian Zavala explained that what distinguishes Argentina is the richness of its culture and the ceremony reflects the cultural output that his country stores, stressing the importance of music in bringing peoples' cultures together to restore the world's wars and diseases.

In turn, Director of Business Development and Relations at Cham Wings Osama Satea indicated that the initiative launched by the Ministry of Culture inviting the Argentine and Armenian bands to revive the evening is an opportunity to learn about the cultures of peoples.

The conductor of the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra, Maestro Misak Baghboudrian, explained that he set the goal of relying on young Syrian musicians to introduce them to a new type of musical styles and study the details of the new music they will play.

In turn, the musician Babkhanian explained that cooperation with the Argentine band began in 2009 through the establishment of many musical projects and events in Armenia, the United States and Argentina, to take their evening in Damascus to another level of cooperation, expressing his hope that tomorrow's evening will be accepted by the Syrian public.
