A spokesman for the Labour Department pointed out that the Labour Department, together with the Police, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, the Home Affairs Department and the Leisure and Cultural Department, will gather frequently for foreign domestic helpers from the 3rd to the 5th of this month, the Dragon Boat Festival holiday and the following weekend. Inspections will be conducted to check whether FDHs are complying with social distancing measures, and there will be mobile broadcasts in multiple languages.
According to the current social distancing measures, the gathering of four people in public places is limited. If more than four people gather, or those who fail to wear masks as required, they can be fined 5,000 yuan.
A spokesman for the prescription said that the relevant departments will take enforcement action against those who do not comply with the regulations during the operation.

The spokesman also appealed to FDHs to avoid gatherings (including gatherings in accommodation facilities), sharing food and engaging in other social activities on rest days and holidays, and to stay at home as much as possible. The Labour Department continues to remind employers that, if the employer and the FDH decides another rest day, the rest day must be arranged before the original rest day within the same month, or within 30 days after the original rest day.
If an employer forces a foreign domestic helper to work on a rest day or does not grant a rest day to the foreign domestic helper without the helper's consent, it is a violation of the Employment Ordinance.
