A fire in an underground car park of an apartment building in Neubiberg led to a large-scale operation by the fire brigade.
Several vehicles were on fire.
Even the professional fire brigade in Munich had to help.
At around 9 p.m., the fire brigade operations center alerted the Neubiberg fire brigade due to a triggered fire alarm system.
When the fire brigade arrived, two cars and a motorcycle were fully engulfed in the underground car park on Prof.-Messerschmitt-Strasse.
The fire was quickly extinguished by the emergency services.
Heavy smoke development
Due to the heavy smoke in the underground car park - in addition to the pressure relief fan at the entrance to the building - the Munich fire brigade operated a large mobile fan on the underground car park exit.
A total of around 100 emergency services were deployed, including the volunteer fire brigades in Neubiberg, Unterbiberg and Ottobrunn, the professional fire brigade in Munich and the Munich Land ABC train and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief.
