The Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education announced that no new death was recorded during the past 24 hours among those infected with the Corona virus in the country, for the first time since the outbreak of this global epidemic nearly 3 years ago.
The ministry said in its statement today that it recorded 175 new infections, according to the Corona tests that were conducted from yesterday until today, bringing the total number of infected people inside the country to 7 million and 232 thousand 443 people, while the number of deaths remained at 141,318 cases.
Commenting on the fact that no new deaths were recorded among those infected with the epidemic virus inside the country today, Iranian Minister of Health Bahram Einollahi wrote on Twitter, “After two years and 100 days of the Iranian people’s struggle against Corona, where many countries are still announcing deaths as a result of this disease. In its countries, Iran has not recorded any death today,” noting the efforts of health personnel in confronting the epidemic.
