Stade de France fiasco: Gérald Darmanin's explanations did not convince the French

Supporters of Reconquest are those who most disapprove of the explanations of the Minister of the Interior (88%), followed by those of insubordinate France (82%), the National Rally and Europe Ecology the Greens (77%).

For the nine out of ten French people who heard of the incidents, the faults are shared.

", that is to say sometimes too repressive, sometimes not enough: 28% of respondents find that the police forces are generally not repressive enough and 11% that they are too much.

For more than one in two French people (53%), these incidents show that France is ill-prepared to host the Rugby World Cup next year and the Olympic Games in 2024. For 46%, conversely, we must not draw conclusions too quickly: France will learn the lessons of these incidents and will be able to supervise these sporting events.

Nevertheless, most French people judge the incidents that have occurred around the Stade de France harshly.

For nine out of ten respondents, they give a bad image of France in the rest of the world (90%) and spoiled the Champions League final (87%).

A large majority of respondents say they feel sadness (85%), anger and worry (73%) after this fiasco.
