A 3-year-old toddler was run over to death today (Friday) near the Mahane Yehuda market in Jerusalem.
He was rushed to the hospital after being injured and his condition was defined as very serious, and after several hours his death was determined there.
Meanwhile, a 10-year-old girl was seriously injured in an accident in Beitar Illit.
The toddler was hit by a taxi that passed on a street in Jerusalem, while crossing the road with his parents.
The MDA team that arrived at the scene provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to Shaare Zedek Hospital when he was in a very serious condition.
"We put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him with medical treatment and resuscitation, we fought for his life until his pulse returned and we arrived at the hospital when his condition was very serious."
A few hours later, the toddler was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Following the incident, the police opened an investigation into the case.
