A man was indicted on Tuesday for kidnapping and forcible confinement in Orne, after confessing, 33 years later, to having strangled his wife, without the wife's body having been found, AFP learned on Friday June 3 with the Alençon prosecutor's office.

The disappearance of the woman was not “
reported
” until 2021, “
by her two children, now adults, the facts dating back to 1989

The prosecution had been seized for worrying disappearance on September 15, 2021. According to

, the children who had become adults were six months and three years old in 1989.
