Shortly before midnight, Thursday June 2, a 28-year-old man was thrown into the Seine, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris,

learned from a police source.
He was taken to the emergency room in serious condition.

The facts took place under the Saint-Michel bridge.
Two individuals stole the bag from a passerby, who chased the thieves to the banks.
A fight then broke out between the three men.
In the fight, the victim reportedly hit his head against a metal stud.
He was then thrown by the two other men into the Seine.

The victim was rescued by the river brigade as well as a team of firefighters from Paris, at the corner of the Quai des Orfèvres.
She was transported to hospital with a vital prognosis.
The suspects were arrested in the immediate vicinity of the incident.
A judicial source tells
Le Figaro
that the two men, aged 20 and 27, have since been placed in police custody for “attempted murder”.
