The Russian Ministry of Defense revealed that the Ukrainian authorities, with British support, and with the aim of raising the morale of its soldiers, produced a fake video about an alleged battle with Russian forces in the Nikolaev region.
In a statement today, Major General Igor Konashenkov said: In light of the defeat in Mariupol and the military failure in Donbass, the Kyiv regime, with financial support from Britain, filmed videos directed to the Western and Ukrainian audience with the aim of raising morale.
And Konashenkov added: It was on May 28 that fake video footage was filmed near the village of Myshkovka in the Nikolaev region, which was intended to confirm the alleged “high efficiency” of Ukrainian nationalists in the use of Western weapons.
Konashenkov pointed out that in order to give more drama to the scene, the British supervisors insisted on fabricating a battle that had never actually happened between the Ukrainian Nazis and the outnumbered Russian soldiers, explaining that the role of the Ukrainian Nazi “enemies” in the fabricated short video was played by members of the local territorial defense unit who wore Red Badges While the lack of “seized” Russian military equipment forced the video producers to use Ukrainian armored personnel carriers and armored personnel carriers.
