The candidate who is offered training on an electric vehicle actually passes a driving license on a vehicle equipped with an automatic and/or manual gearbox (sequential gearbox) and an automatic clutch.
The automatic transmission permit, also called “BEA permit”, requires only 13 hours of driving training instead of the usual 20 hours for the classic permit, following obtaining the Highway Code.
Once obtained, the BEA license does not allow you to drive vehicles with manual gearboxes, except to subsequently undergo additional training of 7 hours in a labeled driving school (“School, driving, quality”).
No examination sanctions this additional training.
