Friday, June 2 marks the 100th day of the war in Ukraine.
The map of the country has changed remarkably since Putin ordered the Russian invasion on February 24.
Jesús Argumosa, retired division general and former head of the School of Advanced Defense Studies, analyzes in this video how the fronts have evolved since then.
The special envoys of EL PAÍS to the territory in conflict, Luis de Vega and Jacobo García, also intervene.

Last minute of the war, live
According to an analysis carried out by EL PAÍS when the three months of the war were completed, Russia then occupied about a fifth of Ukraine, more than 100,000 square kilometers.
The study was made from the maps updated daily by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
With this same information, the animated maps that appear in the video have been created, and that help to visually interpret the evolution of the war.
"A War of Attrition"
General Argumosa's conclusion is that the conflict will lead to "a war of attrition."
“If Western weapons arrive in a timely manner, it will benefit Ukraine.
If it does not arrive, it will possibly have a bad time”, adds this analyst, who considers that in the case of Russia the main problem is the lack of military personnel to feed all the fronts that it has opened.
