An old story of love and trust has been woven for twenty years between the ballet of the Opéra de Lyon and the choreographer William Forsythe.
The Ballet was then directed by Yorgos Loukos who had known how to attract the nec plus ultra of contemporary choreographers.
His company specialized in dancing only contemporary music, but in all its variety of writing.
Times of splendor and complicity at the top.
Loukos left, replaced two years ago by Julie Guibert who works to expand the repertoire, involving not only the body of the dancers but also their voice and their acting.
