Chaos at Rock im Park: Queues for admission to the S-Bahn – visitors vent their anger

The first day at Rock im Park 2022 already offers real headliners like Billy Talent or Volbeat.
But the giant snake is already spoiling the fun for many.
Nuremberg – It's every festival visitor's nightmare: Waiting in a seemingly endless queue for admission and already missing the first bands.
But that's exactly what's happening at Rock im Park: Many users complain on social networks about the long waiting time at the entrance.
Frustration has built up for some.

Under the recap post of the first day on the Facebook page, more and more comments from visitors complaining about the long waiting time before admission are being collected.

, the line goes to the S-Bahn – patience is required.
On Instagram, a user writes: "With all love, but the line to get his wristband is probably a few hours today.
Sorry, but that doesn't work."
There is also criticism on Instagram, especially since the first bands are already playing – and the fans are still queuing outside.
"Guys at 1:10 no security clearance when the bands start at 2:00 p.m.... Black Veil Brides is the only band I want to see...".

Guests from abroad are also frustrated: "Bring more people to check people in!" writes a Facebook user and calls on the organizers to send more staff to the entrance.

shows two visitors who came from Spain and have been waiting for admission for three hours.
Not all those waiting are frustrated, however.
Many had expected a long queue, are used to it from other festivals or sweeten the waiting time with a beer.
With the line-up and the good weather so far, the anticipation can sometimes cover up the frustration of waiting.
