Rosario Greco, the Vittorio convicted of street murder for the killing of his two cousins Alessio and Simone D'Antonio, who died on 11 July 2019, goes to house arrest. Greco has already left prison for three days and is under house arrest in his home in Vittoria.
"We are angry and disappointed, this is
unjust justice
- says
Alessandro D'Antonio - father of little Alessio.
We cannot understand what motivation the judge may have found to grant house arrest".
The Cassation in March canceled the appeal sentence with which Greco had been sentenced to 9 years.
The process will therefore have to be re-celebrated
.
"He hasn't seen the film of the investment, he hasn't followed the case, doesn't he know that two children are dead? Or are there other reasons? Not even three years have passed and the person in charge is already under house arrest", he continues.
The D'Antonio family, in recent days, recalled the children's birthday: Alessio was born on May 29, Simone just four days later, on June 3.
In March, the Court of Cassation canceled and postponed the appeal sentence which sentenced Greco to 9 years.
A new second degree trial will therefore have to be held against him.
"They would have turned 14, the age of projects. - he continues - We should have celebrated, thought about the license, the moped. And instead we celebrated the mass of suffrage. And while we are serving our 'life sentence'
whoever killed them leaves prison.
I cannot accept this.
Is this the state?
Is this justice?
We are very angry.
A few months ago they canceled the trial in the Supreme Court, which will now have to be redone.
Now the news of the release.
The state has failed us for the third time. "
"A shame, a crap. Justice for Alessio and Simone, the life of two children is worth it. I sincerely hope that President Mattarella will intervene!".
The leader of the Lega Mattei Salvini writes it on Twitter, commenting on the news of the house arrest granted to Rosario Greco, convicted of road murder for the killing in Vittoria (Ragusa) of his two cousins Alessio and Simone D'Antonio, who died on 11 July 2019.
