A Kaufland customer was amazed when he checked the receipt after his purchase.
The supermarket is listing a new item.
Neckarsulm – As a result of inflation, many everyday products are in danger of becoming even more expensive.
Eckhard Heuser from the Dairy Industry Association (MIV) said a few weeks ago in an interview with
BW24
on the development of milk prices in Germany as a result of massive cost explosions.
Things like fodder or fertilizers have risen sharply in price.
In addition, there is a shortage of drivers in logistics.
Kaufland customer amazed at the receipt: "After the total amount came an item"
In the current situation, consumers are therefore happy if they can save a lot of money in the store with little effort.
Eight simple tricks can help to save up to 10,000 euros in everyday costs per year without having to do without certain things.
Of course, it's even easier if you save without even becoming active yourself.
This had only recently happened to a Kaufland customer who had studied his receipt carefully.
After the shopping spree, the man noticed that there was an item on the bill that he had never seen before.
"Since I keep a household book, I always ask for the receipt," he wrote on Facebook.
He saw that he had to pay a cent less at the checkout than the sum of the products he had bought.
"After the total came an item: card payment 0.01 euros", this was deducted from the bill.

Strange discount on Kaufland receipt: Facebook user reveals reason
A previously unknown discount campaign from Kaufland?
Probably not, suspects a Facebook user.
According to
derwesten.de
, this is an error that the cashier probably made by mistake.
She suspects: "You paid a cent with a card and then the rest." The error happens when the customer wants to pay with a card and the cashier comes up with the "one" before releasing the card payment.
A typo that, according to a Facebook user, caused the strange discount in a Kaufland branch.
"Something like that can happen and it's not tragic," she writes - and gets an answer.
"That could well be the case," writes the affected customer and reports that he actually paid cashless via smartphone at the checkout.
But when he held his cell phone to the Kaufland terminal, it didn't work at first.

Checkout error benefits Kaufland customers: "I paid a cent less"
"The employee from Kaufland then asked again, and the second attempt worked without any problems.
But I actually paid a cent less.” However, the supermarket chain is not always in the headlines because of strange or positive reports, on the contrary: Customers often get in touch when there is something to complain about.
That was only the case a few weeks ago, when a Kaufland customer was annoyed by an advertising ploy that consumer advocates warn about.
The message that a well-known chocolate brand could soon no longer be found in the Kaufland range also caused a lot of discussion, because the manufacturer from Baden-Württemberg and the supermarket chain were fighting over the prices.
In view of the already imminent price increases in the German retail sector, this is particularly heating up tempers in the Facebook community.
Not every cost reduction has to be passed on to consumers, says one user.
