Tartous-Sana
Twenty-six children and young people who are enthusiasts of drawing participated in more than 150 paintings in the art exhibition (The Seas of Colors) hosted by the hall of the Arab Cultural Center in Tartous for a week.
The exhibition included a variety of artworks, including drawing in wood, acrylic, lead and pastel colors on a range of topics such as nature, roses, geometric shapes, and others.
The plastic artist, Amal Younes, was inspired by the title of the exhibition she organized from the name of her own institute for teaching drawing. She said in a statement to a SANA reporter: Each participant presented more than six works using various methods and techniques of drawing.
Younes indicated that the first objective of the exhibition is to support and develop the artistic abilities of children and adolescents and increase their self-confidence in order to bring out what is inside them of artistic creativity, pointing out that she also participates in a number of acrylic paintings in addition to children's drawings.
A number of talented people participating in the exhibition considered it an opportunity to present their works and a window to receive public reactions to them.
