Garage flea markets are popular.

In Allershausen, 44 families have now taken part in the cultural advisory board's campaign.

In the end (almost) everyone was satisfied.

Allershausen

- The blue balloons on the garden fences could not be overlooked.

This picture presented itself in many streets of the Allershausen municipal area.

44 families took part in the fifth edition of the garage flea market directed by the cultural advisory board.

They didn't get rich, but they had fun and created new space in the basement or attic.

Using points on a street map, visitors could find the flea market participants.

And somehow they were always approached by the same buyers in the morning: Sabine Wimbauer and Eberhard Mörschner observed a few cars with Mühldorfer and Munich license plates on Von-Behring-Strasse - probably dealers.

They asked for pewter and jewelry in the hope that one or the other would not know what values they were offering.

And so these guests from afar were already standing on the mat during setup.

After the flea market, Sabine Wimbauer found that most passers-by asked about the children's classics: Lego, Playmobil and Playstation games are always well received.

Some of the unsold books will probably be made available to the general public in the book cell on the Glonnterrassen.

In terms of the flea market, Katrin Rakonic had pretty much the ideal place with the garage forecourt opposite the Glonnterrassen.

Missing her was almost impossible.

Her best customer was a football fan who bought her boys' football boots and jerseys in a package for 30 euros.

"The boys are old enough and can buy their own football boots.

The money is mine now,” said the woman from Allershausen and laughed.

In the evening she also put a box on the street and whoever came first could take the leftovers with them.

The gift didn't stand on Kienberger Straße for long and the flea market participant now has more space in the basement again.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The absolute focal point of the flea market was definitely the small residential area of Reckmühle.

Almost every house took part and so there was a promenade in front of the gates of Allershausen.

While setting up, Manuela Groß also had a visit from the pewter seekers, who also asked for records.

She often visits the classic flea market in the Echinger commercial area and appreciates the slightly different variant of Allershausen: "It's nice when you just have to take things out of the house and don't have to load them into the car."

"Clothing is always possible," said Manuela Groß.

She deliberately kept the prices low, on the one hand to create space at home and on the other hand to make other people happy with the clothes that were still usable.

Anyone who missed the ten stands from the Reckmühle at the garage flea market missed something.

Peter Colombo from the Allershausen Cultural Advisory Board was very satisfied with the restart of the flea market throughout the community after the forced pandemic break.

Colombo received a lot of positive feedback.

The 44 registered sellers took part, as he said, mainly for fun - because nobody gets rich as a flea market seller.

The local bargain hunters also got their money's worth.

Unlike the “Zinnjäger”, who had to drive home that day without the bargains they had hoped for.
