Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger explores Munich.
A snapshot from Leopoldstraße seems particularly worth mentioning to a fan.
Munich – The local tourism authority should be delighted: Mick Jagger behaved like a good tourist on his tour of Munich.
It was a tight program that the 78-year-old completed there: With a little luck, fans could see the Rolling Stones legend on Saturday (June 4) at several sights.
Mick Jagger walks through Munich: "Would have died if I had met him like this"
What brings the old rocker to town?
On Sunday evening, the Rolling Stones want to bring the Olympic Stadium to a boil;
it might be the band's last show in Munich.
Reason enough for Jagger to explore the Isar metropolis again on a detailed tour.
He shared pictures of his sightseeing tour on Facebook, among other places.
You can see Jagger (wearing a casual straw hat) with sunbathers in the English Garden, in front of the Bavarian State Opera or under the Friedensengel.
A snapshot of Leopoldstrasse is particularly amusing for some fans.
Jagger insisted on imitating the pose of the well-known Walking Man sculpture (seen in the background).
The "Walking Man" is a 17 meter high and 16 ton steel construction that has been in the Schwabing district since September 1995.
"Mick on Leopoldstrasse – I would have died if I had met him there like that," commented an obviously amused user.

As befits a visitor to Munich, Jagger finally settled down in a beer garden.

The "Prost" that can be heard in the video snippet has a British tinge after all.

While Jagger was able to enjoy the best summer weather in Munich during his tour, things are said to be more restless on the day of the concert.
"From the early Sunday afternoon, some heavy thunderstorms are coming from the west and south-west," warns the German Weather Service (DWD).
Even "large hail" and "hurricane gusts" are possible - possibly also around the Olympic Stadium.
