Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma Leonid Slutsky stressed the need to bring to justice all war criminals in the forces of the Kyiv regime, including those involved in the bombing of Donetsk yesterday.
"The bombing of Donetsk by Ukrainian forces is yet another confirmation of the need for Russia's special operation to disarm and de-Nazify Ukraine," Slutsky was quoted as saying by TASS news agency today, stressing that Kyiv's fighters continue to destroy civilian infrastructure in Donbass even during their withdrawal, endangering the lives of civilians.
Slutsky likened these actions to a large extent to revenge against the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics for their decision to separate from Ukraine and determine their own fate.
During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian armed forces bombed various areas in the Donetsk Republic, killing 5 civilians and wounding 20 others.
