Stormy Paris: The French capital has been suffering from a lightning storm in recent days, which includes large hailstorms.
One of the great victims of the storm is the familiar symbol of the city - the Eiffel Tower.
During the storm, the famous tower suffered a direct lightning strike which although did not cause significant damage but caused fires on the roofs of nearby houses.
A photographer who lives in the city managed to document the spectacular moment:
What a day!
Encore a superb price today's hui on the tour.

Although these are rare photos, this is not the first time the tower has been damaged in this way.
The official website of the Eiffel Tower states that this is not the first time that Barak has hit the site.
Since 1889, the Eiffel has been hit by lightning five times a year on average.
These vulnerabilities did not cause damage to the tower and do not pose a danger to the public who visit it.
In addition, during the severe weather conditions created, a woman was killed and another 14 people were injured.
Orchards were also destroyed and flights from Charles de Gaulle Airport were postponed.
