Zeng Dexian said that the Center for Infectious Diseases was established after the SARS epidemic and had dealt with different infectious diseases for many years, such as swine flu, bird flu, Middle East respiratory syndrome and Ebola virus. At that time, he was still nervous about a new wave of unknown viruses. In December 2019, we received news of the emergence of a new virus, and immediately strengthened the hardware support of the infectious disease center and provided special training for employees.
He recalled that when the center received the first new coronavirus patient who came to Hong Kong from Wuhan, a group of experts and doctors were present to measure the amount of virus contained in the air exhaled from his mouth.
However, it was found that the amount of virus was very small, because the negative pressure ward at that time had as many as 16 air changes per hour, and the ward in a general hospital was 12 times per hour.
He bluntly said that he has always been confident in the hospital's hardware support.

Li Yunmei believes that in order for adult nurses to take care of children more appropriately, nurses who have become parents are arranged to take care of children, because they are better at taking care of children, such as feeding and communication, and it is easier to understand the needs of children.
After the epidemic period, during the peak of the fifth wave of the epidemic, the infectious disease center received more adult patients, but the number of children patients dropped, and the pediatric team helped to take care of adult patients, "I don't know that my colleagues in the pediatric department are used to taking care of children, so I don't think it will be good.
