The Observatory also predicts that a trough of low pressure will linger along the coast of Guangdong in the middle to late part of this week, and it is expected that three days of heavy showers and squally thunderstorms will start tomorrow (7th).

According to the Observatory's two-hour rainfall forecast, the thunderstorm area is expected to hit around 1 p.m., and the accumulated rainfall in half an hour may exceed 10 mm, while the western New Territories such as Tin Shui Wai are expected to experience the heaviest rain.

In addition, the Macao Meteorological Bureau issued a yellow rainstorm warning signal at 11:20 in the morning. It is expected that the rain will continue, and there will be flooding in low-lying areas, and reminds the public to pay attention to travel safety.
