Tartous-Sana
Wheat farmers in Tartous governorate continue to deliver their crop in the Annabiya center designated for receiving the wheat crop, amid easy and convenient procedures for farmers.
The head of the center, Engineer Mahmoud Shibli, confirmed in a statement to SANA reporter that the institution has taken all necessary measures to facilitate the receipt of wheat by sterilizing warehouses, preparing weigh-bearers, and organizing the turnover to receive farmers, pointing out that the quantities of delivery this year are better than last year.
Shibli referred to the procedures followed in receiving the wheat crop by taking an initial sample and analyzing it in the secret room, and based on the analysis, pricing is done and the purchase list is printed, which is transferred by a check paid from the Cooperative Agricultural Bank to the farmer.
And Shibli indicated that the received wheat is of the hard and soft types, and is classified into grades one to four, pointing out that receiving continues until the end of the season.
In turn, the farmers expressed their satisfaction with the facilities and procedures followed in the center and the good treatment and speed of delivery.
