The twenty-second edition of the FIFA World Cup, the world's largest soccer event, will be held for the first time in Qatar.
The World Cup will start on November 21 and end on December 18, 2022.
Classification
The teams qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup
With 32 teams that will compete in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The qualifiers began in 2019, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, the classification will not be defined until mid-2022.
In addition to the host country, several have already qualified for the championship, including favorites Brazil, Argentina, Germany and defending champion France.

World Cup Calendar
The opening match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will take place on
November 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. local time
(05:00 a.m. Miami time) at Al Bayt Stadium, a stadium with capacity for 60,000 spectators.
Local times for group stage matches will be 01:00 pm, 04:00 pm, 07:00 pm and 10:00 pm;
while the matches of the last day of this phase, as well as the subsequent qualifiers, will be played simultaneously at 06:00 pm and 10:00 pm
Khalifa International Stadium will host the third-place match on December 17, while the final will be played at 06:00 pm local time at Lusail Stadium in front of 80,000 spectators.
"In order to give all the teams enough time to recover, the group stage will last twelve days, with four games a day being played, so the schedule promises to be very exciting," FIFA said. .
FIFA has said that "the stadium and the schedule of the group stage matches for each of the days will be decided after the final draw, scheduled for after the March 2022 qualifiers".
"Once the pairings are known, the possibility of assigning the best times depending on television audiences and also for fans traveling to Qatar, depending on the ideal stadium, will be assessed," FIFA said.

Tickets for the 2022 Qatar World Cup go on sale with prices reaching US$1,600
Prices vary depending on the match and the category of seat chosen, with tickets for the final ranging from US$604 to US$1,600.
It may seem like a high price, but by comparison, some official tickets to this year's Super Bowl start at $5,950.

This is the Education City Stadium, the third completed venue for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Dubbed the "Diamond in the Desert", it was completed in June and is one of eight to be used in the competition.
The VAR in the Conmebol qualifiers
The Council of the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) approved in February 2020 the implementation of the Video Assistant Referees or VAR (for its acronym in English) system in qualifying matches for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the organization announced in a statement.
"The costs of tickets, accommodation and VAR referee fees for the 90 matches will be covered by FIFA, while the technology costs will be covered by Conmebol," the confederation said.
