The Syrian Ambassador to Russia, Dr. Riyad Haddad, discussed with the Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko and a team from the Russian Ministry of Health the issues of existing cooperation between the two ministries of health in the two countries.
Haddad stressed during the meeting the importance of the meeting, which comes in preparation for the upcoming visit of the Russian Ministry of Health delegation to Syria in order to sign a bilateral cooperation agreement in the field of manufacturing medicines and medical equipment and to sign a new agreement related to the issues of training and rehabilitating Syrian doctors in the Russian Federation, noting the need to strengthen relations health and medical care between the two
friendly countries.
In turn, Murashko thanked Syria for the support provided by Syria to Russia in the recent meetings of the World Health Organization that took place in Bahrain, stressing the Russian side's readiness to raise the level of relations between the two ministries in the two countries, especially providing Syria with vaccines against the Corona virus.
