HRW: The US delegated its immigration policy to Mexico and this gave rise to abuses

The Human Rights Watch organization presented a report explaining how migrants seeking asylum in southern Mexico suffer abuse and face enormous difficulties in staying in the country.

The organization asks that the conditions and procedures to deal with this type of case be improved.

CNN sought out the Mexican authorities for their position on the report, and as of Monday there has been no response.
