The 11 men and women arrested near the riot site denied rioting and the trial began today (6th).

The prosecution alleges that the 11 defendants were wearing black attire and wearing equipment commonly used by protesters when they were arrested, believing that they had participated in the riots, or at least played an assisting or encouraging role.


11 defendants: Zhang Weiqing (21 years old, unemployed), Zhang Kaixin (18 years old, student), Zhang Mingyan (23 years old, computer technician), Lin Zhuoxuan (18 years old, student), Feng Haoxuan (26 years old, clerk), He Manheng (19 years old, clerk) student), Zheng Xiaorong (18, student), 16-year-old student surnamed Liang, Xie Zijian (21, unemployed), Li Yingxin (21, student) and Su Jiayu (21, student).
