You will not believe who came back: the government of unity!
Under the auspices of an anonymous campaign called 80/80, this term returned to the discourse, after no one had mentioned it for many months.
This campaign, which seems to be an initiative of everyone for the sake of everyone, is actually a campaign to strengthen the current government, which his thinkers say is "big social news" because "80 percent of the people agree on 80 percent of the issues", a matter that is neither true nor relevant. - Even if he does, what's on the table is the remaining 20 percent.
So please, do not confuse the mind.
What is particularly evident in this document is in the line of unity that this government carries with it.
"Unity" is a phrase that occupied the center of gravity in the early days of this government, and especially in the days of its formation.
The explanatory strategy at the time was that in order for the Israelis to be able to swallow a political move that included the defection of three parties from bloc to bloc, when one of them also clearly violates all its obligations to the voter, they must be sold a reality they already know.
"Unity government" is a term that Israelis are familiar with.
They remember it well from the days of Persia and Shamir and before, so when using this phrase, the mind immediately realizes that there is a legitimate compromise result: there are elections that end in the victory of the right, there are (were, mostly) elections that end in the victory of the left, and there are elections .
But the Israelis did not buy this lie in any way, because in order for a unity government to be formed, the consent of both parties is required.
The defection of several factors from one side to the other is not unity, but quite the opposite.
It deepens the split and deepens the abyss.
So very quickly the discourse changed to the "healing government", and then to the "working government", when in fact this government should be called by its exact name: the victory government.
Made a big move, completely legal but completely illegitimate, because it was based on a lie, tore this people to pieces and hurt millions of people - and it worked.
This side won and formed a government that even if it falls soon, it has been formed.
And if you want to support it - support it, just do not call it a unity government.
And when campaign thinkers call it a unity government, they are lying.

And the most gratifying statistic in the whole event is that despite the efforts and media backing, and although in practice members of this coalition more than ten members until yesterday were considered right-wing and one of them even bears the name Begin - there is almost no leakage of one vote from the right side of the coalition.
Because maybe 80 percent agree on 80 percent, but 100 percent of the right know exactly what they want and what's good for them, and please, do not work on them.
that's not nice.
