Director of the Department of International Information Security at the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Krutskykh announced that the Ukrainian authorities, with the help of the United States, are carrying out cyber-attacks on Russia's vital infrastructure, pledging to respond to these ever-increasing attacks.
"Under the guise of protecting democracy, the United States launched cyber aggression against Russia and its allies, using the Zelensky regime and the established IT army to carry out attacks against Russia," Krutskykh was quoted as saying in a statement today.
He added, "We do not advise the United States to provoke Russia and push it to take retaliatory measures, because the response will be firm and firm," noting that the result of such actions may be catastrophic, as there will be no winners in the direct cyber conflict between countries.
Krutskikh stressed Moscow's readiness to work on the formulation of international agreements with all interested countries that assess the threat of cyber war with caution, stressing that there is no alternative to the peaceful use of information and communication technology and conflict prevention in this field.
The Russian Foreign Ministry had warned that the large-scale cyber operation launched by the United States and its allies against Russia represents aggression and open terrorism, with serious consequences for its instigators and perpetrators.
