The DWD has lifted the level three storm warning in Bavaria.

Only in the extreme east there can still be isolated thunderstorms.

In some regions in the west, the thunderstorms seem to have already arrived.

An official warning is currently valid for western Bavaria.

Parts of Swabia and Middle Franconia are affected.

The warning is in effect until 10 a.m. on Sunday.

"Sporadicly trees can be disrooted and roofs can be damaged.

According to the DWD, even large hail with grain sizes of five centimeters is possible in the thunderstorms that are expected to pass over Bavaria this afternoon.

Hurricane gusts of up to 120 kilometers per hour cannot be ruled out either.
