The artistic production of about 70 young people and children of different ages was demonstrated within the exhibition of promising talents 2 organized by the Mada Cultural Project in the exhibition hall in the Directorate of Culture of Homs.

The exhibition, which was very popular with visitors in its first days, included 175 artworks, including sculptures and plastic paintings, whose topics varied between nature, women, portraiture, and others, and included various artistic styles.

In a statement to SANA’s reporter, Ramez Al-Hussein, director of Mada’s cultural team in Homs, explained that Promising Talents 2 was held after the success achieved by the Promising Talents exhibition 1 last September, pointing out that the exhibition is an important opportunity to show distinguished talents that need attention, especially in the category of children under the age of 10 years. Those whose participation stood out remarkably during the exhibition.

The 9-year-old girl Rafif Salama, who participated in three paintings, indicated that the exhibition is an important opportunity to show her talent in public and encourage her to continue and achieve the best, while the 8-year-old girl Jamila Al-Hammad expressed her happiness to participate in the exhibition that embodies her dreams and ambitions to appear and compete.

The 13-year-old girl, Naya Sabreen, talked about her painting, in which she used wooden colors and embodies the idea of ​​merging people and nature. The 11-year-old boy, Karam Dalloul, had a distinguished participation in four portraits drawn by a creative artist.

As for the young man, Yahya Qassem, a civil engineering student at Al-Baath University, he participated in an oil painting representing female restrictions and issues of violence against her.

In the field of sculpture, the young woman, Raneem Al-Qasim, a graduate of the Institute of Applied Arts, presented a sculpture representing the restoration and renewal of life, while the young man, Mohamed Arouq, a student of the Faculty of Fine Arts, participated in two sculptural works entitled (Socrates and a Horse) and an oil painting about the beautiful reader.

The exhibition will continue until the 16th of this month.
