A 60-year-old man suffocated from a steak in Eilat - his condition is serious

During dinner at the Royal Beach Hotel, the man choked on food.

A medical team that arrived at the scene provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him while he was anesthetized and respirated to Yoseftal Hospital in the city.

A 60-year-old man suffocated tonight (Tuesday) while eating a steak at the "Royal Beach" hotel in Eilat.

He was taken in critical condition to Yoseftal Hospital in the city.

A medical team that arrived at the scene treated him, and transferred him to the medical center while he was anesthetized and respirated.

About two weeks ago, a 70-year-old man from Rishon Lezion was taken to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in Beer Yaakov, after he suffocated while eating pizza.

MDA staff evacuated him to the hospital while performing resuscitation operations.
