Corona incidence in Schleswig-Holstein at 375.1

The corona incidence in Schleswig-Holstein was 375.1 on Tuesday.

This emerges from the information from the state registration office on Tuesday evening (as of 6:39 p.m.).

A week earlier, the number of new infections registered per 100,000 inhabitants was 358.1 within seven days.

Kiel – For the federal territory, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave the value on Tuesday at 199.9.

According to this, Schleswig-Holstein continues to have by far the highest incidence among the federal states.

However, the RKI pointed out a special circumstance: When interpreting the current number of cases, it should be noted that there are fewer tests and reports due to the public holidays and vacations.

4,686 new cases were reported for Schleswig-Holstein on Tuesday.

According to the reporting office, 214 Covid patients were treated in the hospitals, and 17 corona patients were in the intensive care unit - 6 of them were ventilated.

The total number of people who have died in connection with a corona infection in the country since the beginning of the pandemic has increased by 2 to 2550. According to the information, 697,000 people have recovered since then.

The number of new corona sufferers admitted to hospitals per 100,000 inhabitants within a week – the hospitalization incidence – was 1.99 on Tuesday.

The highest seven-day incidences were reported in the Rendsburg-Eckernföde district (513.2), Flensburg (444.8) and the Plön district (428.3).

The district of Stormarn recorded the lowest incidence with a value of 304.1.
