Legislative 2022: Elisabeth Borne would be elected in Calvados, according to a poll

In an Ifop-Fiducial poll published on Tuesday, the head of government, also a candidate in the sixth constituency of Calvados, would be elected with a fairly large margin in advance.

Already in the first round, Elisabeth Borne would total nearly 39% of the vote.

Facing her, the pretender of the Nupes Noé Gauchard would manage to obtain 26% of the votes.

Finally, the representative of RN Jean-Philippe Roy would collect 15% of the vote.

The other aspirants to the deputation, well below 10%, would have no chance of reaching the second round, for which it is necessary to gather at least 12.5% ​​of the registered voters.

In the event of a confrontation with the candidate from the left, Elisabeth Borne would have a seat at the Palais Bourbon with 58% of the vote.

In the event of a match with the RN candidate, the head of government would widen her lead with 65% of the vote.

Five years ago, the second round saw the contender LREM Alain Tourret and Jean-Philippe Roy compete.

The walker had obtained 68.34% of the vote against 31.66% for the representative of the RN.
