Cultural battles between conservatives and liberals in Texas are in the headlines again.
After the law that almost completely restricts the possibility of having an abortion in the country almost throughout pregnancy, a new bill is now emerging that will prevent children from watching drug shows.
A state legislature said that following a weekend event held in honor of Pride Month in which families with children were invited to a drag show action should be taken against such incidents because they are not suitable for children due to their sexual nature.
The legislature, Brian Salton of the Republican Party, said his bill was necessary to "protect children from perverted adults."
The event in question was controversial and in fact once again flooded the cultural rift line in the country, and even clashes developed between the parties at the venue.
He referred to a viral video circulated in which children are seen at an event that reflects the "disturbing trend in which perverted adults become obsessed with creating a sexual environment for young children, and as a father of two I will never take my children to a drag show."
