The theater of the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Aziziyah in Aleppo hosted a poetry evening organized by the Directorate of Culture today in cooperation with the Association of Friends of the Arabic Language, entitled “Sharing on the Shrine of Love,” which included a group of lyrical and mystical poems varied between modern poetry, melodious and rhymed.
The evening dealt with several topics about the love of women and the homeland through the shrine of love, which is the supreme place in the arrangement of human values recognized in psychology and philosophy.
Jihad Al-Ghanima, director of the Cultural Center in Al-Aziziyah, pointed out in a statement to SANA reporter, the importance of such evenings to highlight the productions of the veteran writers and poets in the city of Aleppo, indicating that today’s evening included poetry diversity between classical and modernity, pointing to the remarkable and distinctive artistic images created by poets during the evening, which affected the audience significantly.
Jamal Traboulsi, President of the Friends of the Arabic Language Association, explained the importance of poetic activities that support the cultural movement in Aleppo, as they include distinctive and creative poetry that brings joy to the souls.
During the evening, Dr. Yasser Ibrahim presented 4 poems belonging to classical poetry and activism, in which he talked about romantic topics such as love and beauty, in addition to his singing in the city of Aleppo.
The poet Muhammad Hijazi recited one poem composed of several poems, including a synthesis in one dramatic line that talks about the place of love, which is the essence of human life and the foundations of human relations, trying to combine two intertwined personalities, the female and the homeland, considering the homeland is the woman who embraces with love all her children and the woman is the mother who brings together All the data of beauty, goodness and fertility.
While the poet Fadl Al-Nabeeb delivered 3 poems, the first one talks about the issue of contradiction in some cases between the male and the female, and the second expresses a case of a Sufi philosophy on the issue of existential knowledge and facts, while the third poem talks about the emotional conflict between a man and a woman.
