Deir Ezzor-SANA
Deir Ezzor Health Directorate, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the Adventist Organization for Development and Relief (ADRA), put the Sabikhan Health Center in the eastern countryside of the governorate into service after rehabilitating it and repairing the damage it sustained as a result of terrorism.
The center provides various health services and vaccinations for the people returning to their homes in the eastern countryside of the governorate, according to the Director of Deir Ezzor Health, Dr. Bashar Al-Shuaibi, who explained to SANA reporter that within the directorate’s plan to expand horizontally in the provision of health services in the liberated areas, the center was rehabilitated to serve the people of Subikhan and the neighboring towns. Providing him with the necessary equipment and medicines and providing him with a medical staff according to the available capabilities.
In turn, the director of the center, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mashaan, indicated that all the facilities of the center have been rehabilitated and provided with solar energy, explaining that it includes general, dental, women's and children's clinics, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and a section for children's vaccination and the vaccine for Corona. It also provides first aid services, reproductive and women's health, and treatment of malnutrition and leishmaniasis.
A number of the center's auditors expressed their satisfaction with its return to service as it relieves them of the burden of moving to the cities of Al-Mayadin and Deir ez-Zor to receive health services, noting the government's efforts to improve the health situation in the areas liberated from terrorism.
